Stained Glass Artist Bonnie Scherer's talents cross many mediums. An artist since childhood, her love for the beauty of nature is evident in every piece she creates. Her ability to see and capture the essence of the subject is evident as the piece comes to life under the skilled cutting of the master's hand. Each creation is unique, maintaining the quality and beauty of each crafted piece. Inspiration for her work is taken from her many kayak trips up and down the Florida inter costal waterways, winding streams and crystal clear springs.
Inspired by her environmental pieces, Bonnie's clients return again and again as they too feel the beauty and life captured in every piece. Several of her creations have been sold at auction to benefit the Environmental Studies Center in Jensen Beach, Florida and are now displayed in some of the most prestigious homes in South Florida and beyond. Many of her works can be seen in local gardens as well as gracing windows and entranceways to homes and business.
Walking into the store one is greeted with toucans, parrots and birds of prey, all masterfully captured in exquisite stained glass design. One piece in particular depicts an Osprey in a nest with its mate arriving with a fish captured in its talons. Room service indeed!
